Are you ready for the ultimate camping experience? THE FRIENDS OF THE CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST (BSO) invites Scouts, Explorers and adult volunteers to join us for the Essex International Jamboree 2024 (EIJ24), which will be biggest camp we’ve ever attended. We've had an amazing time at past Jamborees, and we're excited to make the next one even better!
Why BSO Loves EIJ:
· See for yourself: Check out the videos @ https://www.youtube.com/@eijmedia
10,000 Scouts & Explorers from around the world attended the last EIJ in 2016
EIJ24 takes place on a massive 120-acre field, transformed into a bustling town with its own stage, cinema, supermarket, food outlets, and more. There's even an 8-acre lake!
Join us from Saturday, July 27th, to Saturday, August 3rd, 2024.
We extend a warm invitation to all BSO members aged 10 to 18 (as of July 27, 2024) to join us for this unforgettable camp experience. Please note that adult leaders associated with your Scout or Explorer section do not need to attend the camp with you (but are very welcome to apply!).
We are actively seeking enthusiastic adult volunteers from all over BSO to apply, as your active participation is essential in creating a safe, happy, and fun environment for all participants (it's also a lot of fun!).
European-based BSO Scout Troops and Explorer Units with camping equipment they can transport to EIJ are encouraged to either join with us with the main BSO contingent, or to register, and camp, independently. If you are uncertain about your Troop or Unit's attendance, please still register below - We can always remove your registration if plans change.
1) Independent Travel

I would recommend a BSO Jamboree because…
